Needlework Notebooks
Margaret Fleming donated her collection of notebooks to the Pacific Southwestern Region in 2000. Margaret's design and needlework are outstanding (as evidenced by the numerous awards she has earned). These notebooks are her collection of notes and stitched samples grouped by category. Although there is no formal program associated with the notebooks, they are a tremendous resource for anyone learning or studying a particular technique. Needlework Notebooks may be borrowed for a period of five weeks (including shipping time) by any Chapter or individual within the Region. The Chapter must send the signed Needlework Notebook Reservation Form to the Region Education Chairman along with a security deposit of $25.00, in the form of a Chapter check, made payable to Pacific Southwestern Region (PSR). The deposit check will be sent to the Region Treasurer for deposit into the Region's account. After checking the inventory and condition of the returned Needlework Notebook, the Region Education Chairman will request a check in the amount of $25.00, payable to the Chapter, be sent to the Chapter. In addition, the Chapter will issue an additional check in the amount of $10.00 payable to PSR for shipping and insurance costs. This check will be deposited in the Region's account. Any overpayment will be returned to the Chapter. Currently, the Region has seven Needlework Notebooks:
